Statement of Faith

The Bible is the inspired word of God. II Timothy 3:16, I Thessalonians 2:13, II Peter 2:1

Salvation is a free gift. Ephesians 2:8

All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Jesus Christ was manifested to redeem and restore man back to God. Romans 3:9-10, 23, I John 3:8, Galatians 3:13-14

Our God is One, but manifested in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Philippians 2:6, Matthew 3:16-17

In order to have eternal life, we must accept Jesus as our savior and be born again. John 3:3, II Corinthians 7:10, I John 5:12, Romans 10:9

This is a gift subsequent to the new birth. The initial evidence is speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives the utterance. Matthew 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8; 2:4; 2:38-39; 19:1-7

The doctrine of sanctification is a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of new birth. Hebrews 12:14, I Thessalonians 5:23, II Peter 3:18, I Corinthians 1:30, II Corinthians 3:18, Philippians 3:12-14

Divine healing is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of every believer. Mark 16:18, James 5:14-20, I Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:4-5

When Jesus comes, the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. Acts 1:11, I Thessalonians 4:16-17

Laying on of hands is for anointing and/or ordination (I Timothy 4:14), for blessing (Mark 10:13-16), and for healing (Mark 5:22-23, 41).

We partake of the Lord’s Supper to show the Lord’s death till He comes. I Corinthians 11:23-31, Isaiah 53:5, I Corinthians 11:24-30, Hebrews 9
